
The Convoy of the Bono Regional Chairman Kwame Baffoe Abronye got involved in an accident on the Berekum-Drobo road.
The incident occurred on Sunday evening 29th November 2020 when the regional team was returning from a rally organised at Atuna and Drobo in the Jaman South Constituency as part of Operations win all seats in the region.
According to the NPP’s regional branch, “At Domfete near Berekum an unknown vehicle with registration number GN 4656 Y entered the convoy crashed into the Toyota Hilux belonging to the 2nd Vice Chairperson of the Party Doris Asoma which caused her car to bumped into that of the Bono Regional Chairman, somersaulting severally, veering off the road and overturning into a ditch thereafter.”
The vehicle is damaged beyond repairs.
Meanwhile, the four persons were rushed to Berekum Holy family hospital, treated, and have been discharged accordingly.
