President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has authorized the Ministry of Sports to an realise an amount of ghc900,000 to support local clubs in Ghana.
The directive follows the decision by the government to have the ongoing premier league to be played behind closed doors due to the covid-19 outbreak.
The amount is the first tranche of payment.
