The wife of late Hon. Ekow Quansah Hayford has retained the parliamentary seat for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Mrs. Mensah Hayford polled 36, 021 to beat her contender Mr. James Odziifo Essoun who had 32,438.
The NPP filed the former senior police officer after the demise of her husband.
Ekow Quansah Hayford was killed by suspected armed robbers last Friday while returning from a campaign at Abeaze Dominase.
