EC Establishes Call Centre Ahead Of December 7, Polls

The Electoral Commission (EC) has established a call centre ahead of the presidential and parliamentary elections.

The call centre according to the EC is to help voters relay their concerns and feedbacks to the EC on Election Day.

The call centre the statement said will be managed by trained staff of the electoral body.

A toll-free number 0800-100-100 has been secured for this purpose.

Callers it added will not be charged for the calls.

Over 17 Million Voters To Vote On December 7

The Electoral Commission (EC) has revealed that a total number of 17,027,641 persons are eligible to vote during the December 7 presidential and parliamentary elections.

Per the breakdown of the total number of electorates, Greater Accra had the highest number of 3,528, 996 valid voters.

The Ashanti Region had a total number of 3,019,178 valid voters ahead of the general elections making it the second-highest region with eligible electorates.

North East and Savannah Region had the lowest number of electorates.

The total number of eligible voters for both regions are 289,529 and 298,404 respectively.
